Erik Kampmann Wins Design Award

Our congratulations to Erik Kampmann, Turnstone’s Design Director, who was recently honored at the USA Property Awards for his Ovcharenko Custom Home project in Bethany Beach.

(Note - This home was designed by Erik before he joined Turnstone and was built by another builder).

Erik designed the home to pay homage to the World War II watch towers that dot the Delaware coastline. He competed against professionals across the U.S. and the Americas. The competition was judged by an independent panel of 80 industry experts. Erik won the Architecture Single Residence category and, to top it off, he was also presented with the 5-Star Best Architecture Single Residence award by the judging panel.

“I cannot tell you how awesome it feels to see a dream become a reality, creating a singular home for amazing clients, and to be recognized internationally for it,” said Kampmann. “I keep looking at my awards and thinking, hey, those are mine!”

Erik joined Turnstone in May 2017 and has been very busy designing new homes for our clients, the vast majority of whom rely on Turnstone to both design and build their new homes.

Here are two homes designed by Erik that are currently under construction by Turnstone.
