Turnstone Enters into Relationship with West Coast Builder

Turnstone Custom Homes has entered into an agreement to share resources and ideas with Lewis Builders of Carmel, CA.

The companies both provide design/build services in coastal resort markets and share a commitment to staying on the cutting edge of trends affecting the custom home building industry. They are similar in size and growth trajectory and also use the same construction management software.

“John Lewis was a presenter at CoCon 2018 conference in San Diego. His presentation was so compelling, and I knew I wanted to get to know more about John and his company”, said Turnstone Chairman Dave Eppes.

After sharing ideas among the two management teams, the owners agreed to formalize their information sharing partnership. The initial topic for sharing was information about sales models and contractual terms. The companies will expand the sharing to include utilization of the construction management software, processes and policies and sharing blog post content and newsletters.

“You can learn so much just by talking to progressive home builders from across the country. We all face the same challenges and cooperation is a win-win for everyone”, said Turnstone CEO Harvey Ryan.
